Do you find that with your family and friends? I am sure you do, it seems you have a certain month, months or time of the year that is just inundated with birthdays. This month alone, between Rach and I, we have about 7 or 8 birthdays. That is a lot of cake. I have been wondering why this is. Do you think it has to do with astrology? Maybe it’s just a fluke? I don’t know, but I think it might have to do with our Soul Family. What is our Soul Family? These are the people who strengthen and witness the authentic you. This may be your bloodline or it may be your soul line. It really doesn’t matter. As long are they are kindred spirits who energetically see you. You know the people who just “get” you. When you are with your soul family you instantly feel comfortable and at ease. You forget about how you should act, the masks fall away, the story disappears and you just “are”. Now this is not to say you don’t have your disagreements, arguments, issues, complaints etc. Of course you do, but they only exist on a surface level, where the ego resides. We are talking here about an energetic connection, about feeling renewed and re-spirited from this connection. These people allow you to be you. Now sometimes it may feel like your family doesn’t “get” you, and that is ok. Usually there is someone in our bloodline who does and it would be unfortunate to cut everyone off in our family. Be sure you give everyone a chance to see the real you, sometimes it is just that due to the roles we play, our family does not get to see all of who we are. The thing is, soul connection is possible, but each soul needs to want it, create it and see it. Your soul family connections do not have to be spiritually based either. Sometimes the strongest soul connections come from someone you share a common interest with. It could be your scrapbooking buddy, your running mate or just someone you work with. Whoever it is, you will know, because your soul is fed when you are together, you feel renewed, and are simply happy being you. Connect with your soul family this month. Renew your spirit, find joy in who you are and be good to you. By the way, Rach’s birthday is Thursday 11th March. You may like to send her your love.
